Burlington Storage Barn COVID-19 Policy

As we continue to monitor the rapidly evolving situation around the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), we want to make sure you are well-informed on the measures we are taking to protect our staff, and our customers, as well as changes in our operations in response to these events:

  • We Shall Remain Open as much as possible: Our Business serves as a logistical hub for many customers, including those in the supply chain for essential goods and services. We shall continue to serve all customers during this time, based upon the advice of the Ontario government and the Halton Region Public Health Authority
  • Store Closing: Wn the event that any staff member is found to have been exposed to a confirmed case of COVID-19, we will immediately close the office until we can have it properly cleaned and made safe for re-opening. All staff members will be tested for COVID-19 before being allowed to return to work at the office. Any staff member with a positive test result will be required to self-quarantine for 14 days as per Public Health rules
  • Increased Cleaning We have increased the frequency in which we clean our “high-touch” surfaces, such as keypads, door handles, etc., such that we will be doing this at least before and after each customer enters and leaves the premises. Hand sanitizers have been placed at all service counters for both staff and customer use
  • Social Distancing:  Only one customer will be allowed in our office at a time, with only one staff member being present on any given day. Physical barriers have been installed at our service counters. All staff members have been provided with re-usable face masks and are required to wear them whenever a customer or other visitor is in the office
  • Alternate Payment Methods: We encourage all customers to use means of making payments other than with cash, with particular emphasis on online methods (login to your bank account, pay via our website, use Visa or MasterCard by calling us directly by phone, etc.)

Reduced Office Hours:
Monday - Friday: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Sunday: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
